Dear parents, carers and pupils,

In these challenging times, I wanted to write to our whole school community with an Easter message. It has been a strange and difficult time for both our school and the wider community. Our routines and way of life have altered for the time being.

I want to thank the members of the community who have helped us to keep supporting our families. Edwards and Blake and Mrs Wilkes, who have made packed lunches every day for the pupils needing free school meals and lunch for pupils on site. And all of our suppliers, who have kept providing us with ample food during this difficult time.

I also want to thank all of our amazing members of staff, who have been in teaching and supporting the children of key workers and our vulnerable children. Our teams have been calling our families weekly to check-in and working hard to pull together home learning packs so our children can continue to learn at home.

I would also like to thank our families for their ongoing support - we understand this is a big change.

I want to reassure you all that we are here to help at any time. We don’t know how long this will last, but I do know that for as long it does, our school stands ready to support your family and our community.  If you are in crisis and struggling, we are at the end of the phone and will help in any way we can, even if it is just for a chat.

Wishing you all a very happy and safe Easter.

Best wishes
Tanya Blake
